kids are funny

So Lauryn is 7 years old. She is a dramatic girl with attitude... THe first day she tells me that I am so beautiful. I am like thanks.. She goes on to say... my other babysitters have been ugly. I was like oh really. Then she says.. I love chubby people .. i think they are so beautiful! I want to be chubby just like you one day. I was like see screw working out when some people can embrace this chubbiness.

updating the blog time

so, yeah i'm back in nwa and things have been crazy. I move back here saturday. and went down to Mena, Arkansas to pick up furniture. I then hurried back to start gettin my apartment ready! yay!

Anyways, I left Denver last friday and drove to Kansas. Then headed to Arkansas at 5 am! Though, i have a lot to do on my apartment. I love my roommate. He is awesome. We went car shopping today and stuff. We call our selves the Sinterns.. it's quite funny actually.

My friend Maggie had a baby girl this past week! Congrats and welcome lily.

So i started my new job. It's only a tempory thing. The Richard's family is very unique. They have 3 wild and fun children. I am not as young as I once was.. these 9 hour days are killing me.
I am working for them for 8-10 weeks. I get to travel while with them! I am going to Daytona Beach, Florida and Sutton's Bay, Michigan. should be loads of fun. i am excited.

I love living next to sarah. we can borrow stuff and she likes to give me stuff. lots of stuff.. travis says i must stop taking free stuff.

things i love about the northwest arkansas life

1. the people. i met more new people in 4 days in arkansas than i met the whole 12 months in colorado.

2. wal mart is like 2 minutes from my house.

3. SOning being right here and the cheddar bites. yummmm

4. GOing to the store and always seeing people I know! Im notta a stranger any more.

5. the traffic or the lack there of. yay!

its happening

well.. it's official in all ways possible. I am moving back to Arkansas. The magic date is drum roll please! The weekend of July 23rd! Soon! indeed! but, this weekend i was in Fayetteville signing my lease and checking out some job stuff. here is condense version:

Denver International Airport. I had the chance to spend over 9 hours there on Saturday. Thanks United for cancelled flights, mechanical failure and ect. it was awesome.

My new apartment: Well, i finally got to see the place at Stern Street. It was nice. really nice. tanning beds, huge pool, and all that jazz.

My neighbors at Stern street. Well, they will rock! There are 7 or 8 of us living over there! party!

my roommate. he rocks. Seriously he is doing a good job of making me happy. Wait its not about me. I forgot.

job: well I have something for now stuff lined up. its all going to work out..

colorado: i am sad to be leaving what i have called home. some parts of the equation make more me sad than others. If I wasn't that would be sad to know I had wasted a full year hating life.

a little surreal

okay, so the new nanny is coming to town this weekend to get interviewed. Im excited for her, the bentfords and all that. but, it's weird. it's like okay, its been building up to all this and now its here. i talked to dwan tonight and she understood. i may not be making any sense. i am not jealous. just weird feeling. kinda happy kinda sad.

so, yeah. thought id say that.

So, it's July 4th. Happy July 4th! I like to look back into the past and remember what entertaining 4th of July's.. I have had.. I have had my share let me tell ya.. What's interesting is a few summers ago I spent July 4th at Rockies Stadium here in Denver, Colorado..

thought today will be mellow I am sure.. I am picking up Miles (family I used to work for.. He's 17) anyways from the airport..

But, last night was wild let me tell ya. I went to a Whitesnake concert.. For you younger people they were this hard rockin band from the 80's.. Anyways, it was a cool experienced. Jamie, Alya's dad, knows one of the guitar guys.. they were in a band back in the day.. his name is Reb Beach.. Anyways, he's super cool. We had fun hanging out.. I got lots of pictures.. So, maybe I will post them. The blog picture thing isn't working for me right now.. Anyways, the people at these concerts were mostly in their 40's and dressed like white trash. gotta love that look.. It was lots of fun..

Good News.. I am going to Arkansas this weekend.. Hopefully to line out my job.. and to sign my lease for my new apartment! I am super excited! I am living with Travis Crone. This will be interesting. I'm Excited. Then across the hall will be Peevy and Sarah! Listen to me I sound like I am living in the dorms.. Anyways.. it's an apartment over by NWA Mall..
