1. "How 'bout them Hogs" is a common phrase around your house. oh yes yes. i remember listening to the games on the radio!
2. Everyone you know has been on a "Float Trip". My parents went every year!
3. "Vacation" means driving to Hot Springs or maybe even Branson. indeed
4. You've seen all the biggest bands ten years AFTER they were popular.
5. You measure distance in minutes rather than miles. For example, "Well, Conway's only 20 minutes away." this is true.
6. Up North to you means Missouri.
7. The phrase "I'm going to the Lake this weekend" only means one thing.
8. You know several people who have hit a deer. i've hit 2!
9. You think Arkansas is spelled with an "aw" at the end.
10.Your school classes were canceled because of a cold.
11.You consider riding a mechanical bull true entertainment!

news news news

Well, it's been a rough a couple weeks. I guess i should explain. maybe that will help.

First of all as much as my job is a business decision it's personal. I would love to walk around and say business is business. But. I don't feel that way. Since the beginning of May I've been having some change of heart about where I need to be job wise. So, I checked out options. I went to Arkansas and talked to a few people and realized with in a few short weeks where I should go. back home. what's the number one thing in my life. my family and friends. what do i enjoy doing most hanging out with friends and family. so, what am i going to do come mid august go hang out with my friends and family. How exciting! Oh wait now, I must go tell my boss and these 3 children whom i have spent more hours with than their parents or anyone else. Tellin the boss was hard but, she was so understanding. Telling the kids brought a host of tears to my eyes. that's what i did today. My kids are so unique and special. they were so understanding and loving and i really appreciated it all.

so what's next. well, i am going to enjoy each and everyday of colorado. I am confident the right doors are going to open up.

The good news is I have spent the last year learning about what's most important to me. I've met 5 wonderful people whom have introduce me to so many other people and they have taught me about life as well. thanks bill, dwan, kris I mean terdy ferdy, ayla and billy.

colorado in the summer

random thoughts.

colorado is a warm place. i live at 9200 feet. which means i am that much closer to the sun. also, our house has not really windows that open so much as doors and lots of glass unopen windows. so our house is warm. Oh we have no AC. I think an attic fan would be nice.

also we have so much pollen. seriously. my car is yellow. another fine example. yesterday at 5 I wipe off counters. At 6:30 i wiped off the counter with my hand another layer of pollen.

Anyways, I have been busy cleaning and organizing every piece of junk i own. i decided i must like junk. anyways, i like to watch movies while doing that. I watch Hitch, First Daughter, Napolean DYnomite... just to name a few. i love ND. it's just so stupid that it's funny.

well, today i am finishing my room before i can do anything else. yeah, this was pretty much a wasteful entry. but, tomorrow or maybe tonight i will update you with some interesting things from my life...

Well. last friday this time I was being entertained by Reba McEntire, Brad Paisly and Terri Clark! Alyssa and I went to a concert. While she was here we went to Breckinridge, Cheyenne, and Denver! I really had a good time. She is cute and fun!

I have had a lot on my mind lately. As some of you know when I decide to change up my life it always appears sudden but, usually there is a lot of thought then when I get courage to pursue what I want -- I stop at nothing. If that doesn't make sense it will soon..

Anyways, our summer plans have changed here. We are in Colorado all summer. kinda of bummed but, handling it.. I had a pretty busy week .... as always.. I even managed to pull off a success "last minute" party for Bill and Dwan. They invited about 75 real estate students to our home for dinner. I like planning or organizing parties!

Becky Danforth a friend from fayetteville is passing through Denver tomorrow! We are having dinner! That always makes me happy.

my fun filled weekend!

Hi! Well, i had a really great time in Arkansas.

Almost too good. Is that possible?

So, the flight was great. Amber was a great travel partner.

So, I get to town and I am greeted by Alyssa and Nick! Two people I love! We cruise on over to the Eason household (where i used to work!) It was super fun! I got to experience Miles Eason nervous before his big date with Miss Kate.. Then I went over to Alyssa house and I saw her mom! Lisa is a good time. We went to dinner at Red Robin yum yum. Then I met up with my best friend Sarah. We went to watch Monster In Law. That was a super cute movie..... So, then sarah and i realize how old we were when we were alseep by like midnight or 1 am..


So on Saturday was Margie (an ol rommie from the campus house) (we need a campus house story blog...) anyhow, she married Joe. But, before that I had a date with Sam. (www.samiyam.blogspot.com) We (sarah, me and sam!) went to the Farmer's Market abnd to Uncle Gaylords. He was just so cute and good. HE talks a bunch of jiberish seriously. THen we went back to sarah's. He went right to sleep while sarah and i got ready for the wedding. The wedding was short and sweet. Sam was good and the wedding was fun. It was great to see people and visit! That evening we went up to B-ville.. we hung out with julie and her family.. IT was a great time (as always) Then sarah and i had a mini cookout with just me and her. we went to the new wal mart in "south rogers" aka as "Lowell". We had hot dogs and chips while watching a movie. of course, sarah and i went right to sleep. :)

On Sunday, I went to my sweet chicka's baptism (Jennifer Eason).. It was great. I also had a chance to hang out with Aly and Emily! Those girls are adorable-- I also had some quality time with Aissa (my old boss). I sure enjoyed the afternoon. I then went to visit Sarah's parents in Rogers. Another great time. Then that evening we did our annual memorial day event of going to Party on the Patio at POwer House while our friends Six Hung Sprung played. It was a blast! I probably had too much fun..

On Monday, I went to Poteau where I had lunch with my granny, my mom and Keneth. It was good hanging out. Then i went to my dad's car wash where I hung out with my dad, my sister and brother and Mitzi.. I love my family! lots! we had lots of fun. I then returned to Fayetteville where a party at Bill, Clint and Peevy's was winding down. THen we went over to Gypsy for another six hung sprung concert.

Overall, things were a great time but, i am sad to leave. And that's weird cause I have never felt extremely sad.

Anyways, good news I brought Alyssa back with me-- So we are partying hard.

I enjoyed seeing each and every person.
